Turtle Guardians is about prevention! We work with kids and communities to stop losses of turtle populations through road patrols and emergency situation response; by designing and installing pioneering eco-passage systems; through education and skill development for kids and people of all ages; and as the third largest incubator in Ontario, through excavation, incubation, and release of hatchlings from dangerous locations. We train volunteers across Canada and North America to understand turtle behaviour and biology, and leaders that help turtles in their communities. We work with engineers, road departments, developers and governments to find a balance between development and conservation, and to ensure areas are turtle-friendly.  Finally, we work with schools and families to create fun filled experiences that connect kids to nature.  Turtle Guardians is part of, and the operating name of The Land Between charity 805849916RR0001
