We share a love for animals and are dedicated to helping rescue, care for, and provide loving homes to as many as we can. Hope For Paws is a 501(c)3 organization that has been rescuing animals in the Los Angeles area since 2008 in an effort to end animal abuse, neglect, and homelessness. Our team rescues neglected, injured, and abandoned animals, provides veterinary care, and transfers the animals to one of 35 partner shelters and adoption centers. During the rescues, we record short videos which are shared on YouTube and Facebook with an audience of over 5 million followers. These videos educate the public on the importance of companion animals in our society and inspire people to take action, support the cause, adopt animals, and help reduce euthanasia rates at shelters across the country.

Hope For Paws does two things differently from most other non-profits in the animal rescue space. The first is the nature of the rescues: rescue in this case does not simply mean retrieving animals from a shelter where they may be euthanized. Instead, it means going into the field to help animals that are trapped, injured or endangered and saving them before they arrive at shelters.

For the past three years, Hope For Paws has spent an average of $3.4 million per year on critical medical care and adoption related services. Medical costs for each rescued animal vary widely and the organization spent over $3,500,000 on medical care and related expenses in 2019. In addition, Hope For Paws provided over $325,000 in grants to shelters and adoption centers to help care for animals.
