About us
Our Community Foundation has a proven track record of fostering, supporting, and enhancing psychosocial mobility through direct and indirect outreach and engagement, working with multiple community partners to provide wrap-around, holistic support to every participant throughout their trade engagement, exploration, and employment journey. Our mission is to meaningfully address community vulnerabilities and provide targeted outreach to identified groups for practical and meaningful outcomes. Our goal is to help these individuals feel empowered and build certainty through training and hands-on activities to confidently work within trades and continue to support them after their career engagement.
The overarching Tradeswomen Australia (TWA) core vision and mission is for an Australia where women and non-binary people who want to, can and do work successfully in trades. TWA comprises the Tradeswomen Australia Foundation (TWAF) and Community Foundation (TWACF). Our overall mission is to create equity in trades nationally by partnering with employers to create culturally inclusive and welcoming environments, mentoring, educating, and engaging women and non-binary persons in non-traditional trades. Working side by side with our dedicated community Partners, we provide collaborative strength in wrap-around supports, opportunities, and certainty to succeed for all women and non-binary individuals who work with us.We add Votes for every $ you Donate
