The Tourette's Association NZ is the only support and information service for those living with Tourette Syndrome. The Association supports not only those living with the disorders but their families, other health and support workers as well as educators. Each year the Tourette's Association NZ hosts Camp Twitch for young people and their families. It is often the first time these children have met someone else with Tourette Syndrome and knowing that they aren't alone and that there are others like them is a huge confidence boost. The friendship and skills that the children learn at camp are life-changing. Some parents have even said that their child attending camp has been a life-saving event.
