Tobacco Valley Animal Shelter (TVAS) is a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter serving Lincoln County, Montana, and beyond. Our mission is to help pets and people by providing safe shelter, compassionate care, and loving homes for homeless and abandoned animals. Beyond adoptions, we focus on keeping pets with the families who love them by offering spay and neuter services, a community pet food pantry, behavior counseling and training resources, trap-neuter-return (TNR) programs, and community education. We work alongside dedicated staff, volunteers, foster families, veterinary partners, and generous supporters to improve the lives of animals and the people who care for them. Through prevention, education, and compassion, we strive to reduce pet overpopulation, prevent unnecessary surrenders, and ensure every animal has the opportunity for a healthy, happy life.
