Our mission is to rescue dogs of all breeds and ages from high-risk environments across the Carolinas, including kill shelters, substandard backyard breeders, hoarding situations, abusive households, and from owners facing life crises that impact the welfare of their dogs.

We provide complete medical treatment, loving foster homes, and safe transport by land and air to fully screened adopters.

Each year, we save an average of 300–500 dogs, giving them a second chance at a safe and loving life.

We are proud to be a 100 percent volunteer-run rescue, which means every single dollar goes directly to the care of the dogs we save.

We have earned an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, are a top-rated nonprofit on GreatNonprofits, and have received GuideStar’s Platinum Seal of Transparency.
