The Place4Grace believes that no child should lose their family simply because a parent is incarcerated.

For more than 16 years, we have walked alongside children, caregivers, and incarcerated parents to strengthen family relationships, reduce trauma, and create pathways to healing. Through innovative, evidence-informed programs inside California prisons and throughout the community, we help families stay connected during incarceration and successfully reunify after release.

Our signature programs include Camp Grace, Healing4Families, Home2Stay Reentry Services, Family-to-Child Literacy, Nurturing Fathers, Youth Leadership & Legislative Advocacy, and Community Health Worker (CHW) services, reaching hundreds of children and families each year.

We believe children are the hidden victims of incarceration. While they did not commit the crime, they often experience poverty, stigma, isolation, interrupted education, and profound grief. By investing in healthy parent-child relationships, trauma recovery, and family reunification, we help break cycles of incarceration for future generations.
