About us
The Pitty Committee is a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming pit bulls and other ‘bully breeds’ facing euthanasia in Southern California shelters. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for these misunderstood dogs, offering specialized care and training to help them thrive in loving, permanent homes. We are committed to changing public perception of pit bulls through education, advocacy, and community outreach, while working to establish a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Southern California.
