Cracker Box Palace is our no-kill farm animal shelter, the only one of its kind in the Wayne County area. We are a haven for farm animals who need shelter and care as they recover from illness, neglect or abuse. Our Large Animal Rescue Team works closely with our community and our local humane societies to bring animals in need of shelter into a caring and supportive environment. We are currently home to 150+ horses, cows, sheep, goats, pigs, geese, chickens, and rabbits and more. They welcome your visit! Our residents have the distinction of occupying a beautiful 640 acre tract of land, comprised of fields, forest, and historically significant buildings. Our hundreds of acres are ripe with opportunities to explore, with numerous marked trails through the forest and down to Second Creek as it heads into Sodus Bay. We offer wonderful opportunities to commune with nature and view local wildlife.
