Specialist palliative care extends life, reduces stress and pain, and changes the experience for the loved ones of the person who dies. Mary Potter Foundation funds many aspects of this care that is not funded by Government or Private Health funds to ensure our patients and their families have the best end of life experience they can. It’s not shiny or a cure but its life changing for those that are left behind.

We currently rely very heavily on the good will of families who have experienced Mary Potter care, but this is difficult to plan or budget against. There is so much more we can do if we have the funds. We are the only private palliative care provider is South Australia.
