The Mary Potter Foundation's purpose is to raise money to support people at the end of their lives. Our mission is to inspire people to share our belief that caring for people at the end of their lives is an honour and a privilege and to work with us to support patients and their families. Largely through the renowned Mary Potter Hospice, funds are used to meet the costs of vital medical care provided by a team of doctors, nurses, physio, social worker and other health professionals; additional staff; education; support and wellness programs; equipment and facility upgrades; and a number of personalised and group initiatives aimed at ensuring people have the opportunity to make the most of living every day, every hour. While we cannot change the outcome for the hundreds of patients spending time in the Hospice every year, we can aim to change the experience, ensuring a place where people can live and die with dignity and at peace.
