As the largest independent human rights organisation for refugees and people seeking asylum in Australia, the ASRC delivers services that support and empower people seeking asylum to maximise their own physical, mental and social wellbeing. We offer 30 holistic programs that protect people seeking asylum from persecution and destitution, support well-being and dignity, and empower people to advance their own future. Independent of Federal Government funding, we are a community lead organisation that is supported by a network of more than 1,300 volunteers and 90 staff in assisting around 3,000 people each year. Our vision is for all people seeking asylum have their human rights upheld and receive the support and opportunities they need to live independently.
