The Cancer Support Centre is an awesome place. The hospitals look after the clinical needs and treatments of the body, but we look after the mind and the spirit – the emotional and psychological support that is really important to managing and coping, and being the best you can be whatever the situation or prognosis. We support adults affected by cancer at whatever stage they come to us plus close family - right at the beginning when they are coming to terms with what has happened, through any surgery and hospital treatments or afterwards when everyone may be adjusting to a different life with different perspectives We offer a safe place, help with decision making and taking back control, building back confidence and self esteem and empowering them to move forward.
