The Buy a Brick Foundation has been working in Zimbabwe, Africa since 2004. We have built over 20 schools, both Primary and Secondary. In 2021 we completed a Boarding School for 104 students.

We established a Breakfast Feeding Program in 2016 and now reaches 5700 kids each school day of the year. The past three years have been very tough in Zimbabwe as Covid and two years of drought has taken the already desperate people of Zimbabwe to the edge. We have been asked by the Ministry of Health and Education to please expand the Breakfast Feeding Program as this school meal is sometimes the only food source that these children receive.

One of our ongoing projects is to create self sustaining, self sufficient communities. How do you do this when these rural communities are penniless. We partnered with the Ministry of Agriculture and develop plots of land, approximately 40 acres per village. First, we make sure that there is a good water supply underground and then we drill for water. We then solar power the water to large 10,000 liter jojo tanks that gravity feed the water back down to the gardens and also we pipe water to the community. 

ALL of these take lots of money. Please Note: Everyone is a volunteer. ALL donations go directly to the projects and to a certified builder who oversees each project.
