The ARC is run by myself with a dedicated group of caring, unselfish volunteers. We receive no government support and rely entirely on the generosity of our excellent supporters alongside the adoption fees. We operate a strict non destruct policy unless a cat is in an advanced stage and suffering with a terminal illness or has injuries beyond veterinary help. Our aim is to save the poor souls that come through our doors and give them the future they all deserve. We help strays, ferals, sick, injured, pregnant cats, kittens, elderly cats - in fact any cat who needs help, if we have the space they will come into our care for the treatment they need and hopefully to find a loving home. At times by rehoming a cat can also save a person's life - the elderly give up when they lose a husband/wife or a cat/dog but we match them up with the right companion and give them a reason to get up in the mornings. Times are very difficult right now as all our fundraising events are cancelled and we are struggling to bring the funds in to pay the continuous vet fess, food, parasite treatments etc. For the first time ever I really am concerned for The Arc's future!
