The Animal Rehoming Service Inc. (TARS) is a Melbourne based registered charity which has found loving, permanent homes for thousands animals of every description, since it was established in 2000. Since 2014 we’ve focused specifically on rehoming dogs.Our Charter Is:To act as a contact between people wanting to rehome their dogs and people who wish to adopt them.To provide enriching foster homes to homeless dogs, whilst finding them suitable permanent homes.To provide vet care for dogs, prior to placement in a suitable permanent home. All animals are desexed prior to adoption, to curb the number of unwanted dogs. They’re also vaccinated, wormed and microchipped.To provide ongoing support and advice to those adopting through us, for the life of their new dog.To provide rehoming and pet advice to all who contact us, regardless of whether they use our service or not.
