We are a member-driven community of support, resilience, encouragement, and meaningful work for Tarrant County residents and people living in 76104 who are recovering from serious mental illness and the stigma of mental illness. We adhere to the 37 researched Standards of our accreditor, Clubhouse International. Through advocacy, education, a community of belonging, and the services of our Wellness Program, we support our members in achieving their social, financial, educational, and vocational goals. Currently, we serve approximately 75-100 people annually who live with serious mental illness, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, PSTD, and depression in a full-day, 5-day-a-week program. We follow the Clubhouse International public health model, providing a community of support; wellness activities such as walks and meditation; a daily nutritious meal; educational and employment opportunities including Transitional and Supported Employment; housing and benefits supports; a work-ordered day where members take responsibility for running the Clubhouse; and social events for social, emotional resiliency and relationship-building. Our program leads to higher employment, reduced hospitalizations, and reduced incarceration, saving taxpayer dollars, while restoring the dignity of our members' lives.
