We know how cycling can transform people’s lives, you don’t even have to know how to ride a bike.  Come along to one of our sessions – make friends, improve your health and have fun. 

Streetbikes provides safe spaces, in traffic free environments. We have a wide range of adapted  bikes suitable for many needs. We understand the challenges faced by families and individuals  locally who may be affected by difficult health issues, disability, or other challenges that might be a  barrier to cycling.

We run twice weekly cycling sessions at the Spen Valley Athletics Track on Tuesdays and  Saturdays. Come and ride around the track at one of our Mixed Ability sessions or attend a leisurely  ride along the Spen Valley Greenway on one of our Community Rides.  Our tireless and enthusiastic volunteers are always on hand to help and support you.

And if you are looking for a bike of your own, we recycle donated bikes and turn them into fully working bikes that you cannot wait to ride. We also donate bikes, especially at Christmas to local charities for children who don't usually have an opportunity to own their own bike. This is an ongoing process which supports cycling in and around Kirklees.
