Southon Rescue is a foster-based 501c3 charity that focuses on saving neonatal kittens, one of the most at-risk groups in a shelter setting. Our foster parents dedicate their hearts and homes to helping these fragile animals grow up and have the opportunity to be adopted in to loving homes. In Florida, Kitten Season is an almost all-year event due to the heat, compared to most states where it simply peaks April-July this means even more kittens are at risk.
