STAT® Inc. is a healing-centered, equine-assisted nonprofit based in Ligonier, Pennsylvania, “Healing with Horsepower” since 2007. We design customized programs for individuals or groups, offering both mounted and ground-based activities that blend recreation, education, and therapeutic goals.
Our diverse team includes certified trauma-informed Equine Specialists, licensed therapists, physical and occupational therapists, behavioral specialists, and psychologists who work alongside a herd of rescued horses, minis, and donkeys. Together, we create safe, engaging spaces where participants can build trust, develop skills, and experience personal growth.
STAT® serves children and adults with special needs, veterans and military families, first responders, neurodivergent individuals, survivors of human trafficking, people in recovery, caregivers, and older adults. Programs include our trademarked EQuine Affect®, adaptive riding, Hippotherapy, Horse Sense Learning Levels®, Horsepowered Reading® & Math, trauma-informed equine-assisted learning, and on-site “Meet the Herd” visits to schools, community centers, and nursing facilities.

With more than 10,000 individuals served and 4,000+ scholarships awarded, STAT® continues to expand its mission, ensuring everyone has access to the healing, hope, and empowerment horses inspire.
