Soft Landing Senior Horse Rescue is a passionate cause intended to secure a safe, soft and secure retirement home for retired performance horses. So often the end of a horse's career is met with the uncertainty of where their final years will be spent and what level of care they will receive after having given themselves to their human either for their pleasure or competition.  These horses deserve continuity of care and consistent love from when they arrive on the planet until their last day. AND that last day should be met by and overseen by caring and compassionate humans to ensure their passing is met with grace and dignity. 

That's what we do here!!!! It is expensive, time consuming, and difficult....BUT the reward of knowing that we were able to provide a loving address and constant care until these horses give us "the look" is priceless and worth every moment.  If only all animals and yes, humans, could be so respected for their value long after their "productive" years have passed.
