“Silver Lining Gary” is a dedicated initiative that delivers critical services to underserved pet families in Gary, Indiana. Through free spay/neuter, microchipping, vaccinations, and TNR, Silverstray addresses systemic inequities, championing the fight against both economic and racial disparities.

We believe the joy and benefits of the human-animal bond should be accessible to all, not just a privileged few. Our model focuses on the holistic well-being of families, using the pet as a Trojan horse to enter homes with empathy and provide transformative, lasting care beyond the needs of their pets. People need to know that people care. They need to feel seen and heard.
