The specific objectives and purposes of this corporation shall be: To inspire and fuel the imagination of possibilities for people of all ages, all walks of life, throughout Silicon Valley and beyond. The foundation will seek to donate time, materials, and when possible, hardware and software to expose and inspire people about the possibilities of current and emerging technologies and how they can make in the world. We take an all-encompassing holistic view of society and how we can introduce programs and solutions to make a difference at different levels of the societal experience.
The Silicon Valley Technology Foundation serves and supports the spectrum of technology-based possibilities and solutions, including: Creation and support of programs providing technical training. Veteran reintegration to help reduce Veteran suicide. Reintegration programs for stay at home parents. Donation of time and material. Creation and support of programs to support vulnerable populations. Support for foundation and other charitable cause events. Establishment and involvement in merit-based awards to help encourage life goals. Feeding the vulnerable. Public speaking forums promoting the foundation's work. Support of community events. Creation and support of competitions. Partnership with other foundations and organizations with the goal of serving society.
