We are a 100% volunteer organization. With over 240 active members and 105 certified dog teams we are the largest volunteer K9 search and rescue organization in the US. Our charter is from the California Office of Emergency Services so nearly all of our missions are in California counties. All our members pay for their own: equipment, travel, training, vet bills, uniforms and so forth. We raise money to help primarily with training opportunities to help keep our teams on the cutting edge of the canine search and rescue discipline. All donations go to training programs or in some cases equipment such as radios or GPS units. No donation goes to pay for the cost of overhead and admin.
