The objective of Semper Fi Felines & Mary's Misfits is to provide assistance to cats that are often overlooked. These felines are too fearful to reside on a porch or receive nourishment from humans. Many will remain unseen, lurking in the shadows until they muster the courage to seek aid. Their hunger and distress drive them to take risks. Regrettably, numerous cats are starving and facing dire consequences. The demand for assistance is pressing, and we need your support to alter their lives from neglect and abuse to one of satisfaction and safety. Mary started independently rescuing street cats after retirement from the military after 20 years of service. Six years ago we were granted our 501c3 nonprofit status and have been able to TNR well over 1000 cats. We've found homes for countless others, assisted many community members with their cats whether it’s with getting them fixed, vet care or simply providing food. The majority of our budget has come from her monthly retirement check as the donations are sparse.We can't continue to do this without the help of the public. The need is far too high and we are overwhelmed.
