San Lorenzo Ruiz Global Ministry, a 501c3 non profit organization, organizes church services (Mass) two to three times a year to commemorate the life and services of San Lorenzo Ruiz, Patron Saint of the Philippines; provide spiritual service to Filipinos in the NY NJ CT area; provide a venue and network where Filipinos can meet and mingle.  Primarily Filipinos in the New York, New Jersey, and Conn./ Northeast area participates in SLRGM activities as well as Filipino American Church Groups participates in these activities.  SLRGM holds 2-4 Special Mass events to commemorate the Anniversary of San Lorenzo Ruiz, welcome high ranking Catholic Church Officials from Rome or Philippines re San Lorenzo Ruiz.  There are NO FEES assessed to attend the Special Mass. However, per Church protocol, the lst collection from the participants during Mass is allocated to the Church eg St. Patrick Cathedral while the 2nd collection at the end of the Mass may be designated for SLRGM mission/activities.  Volunteers manage these activities.  Past activities have provided opportunities for Filipino communities to work together in setting up the Special Masses providing individuals to use skills in organizing, communications, networking, spiritual celebration, etc.
