About us
Nonprofit River of Faith Ministry (dba WTR) sins 1972. Sacramento is a melting pot of different cultures. For 53 years, WTR has been part of the rich cultural fabric of our community to which we dedicate our talents. We are visiting the “Golden Days” Adult Day Care Center in West Sacramento. Our Street Ministry helps the homeless.
The main goal our ministry is free Musical Education. Music helps parents raise their kids and protects them from the negative influence of the street.
How music affects a person has been noted by ancient philosophers. Plato (428-348 BC) said: "Musical education is a more powerful tool than any other, because rhythm and harmony find their way into the inner places of the soul and lead a person to the right state."
Our Children's Radio is playing 24/7 all over the world: “detskoeradio.org”. We have 24 teachers who give free music lessons to about 600 children in 4 Schools in Sacramento and Yolo County. We provide rent musical instruments for free. Your donation helps us to reach more kids with.
