"Because no animal should die unwanted, unloved or alone..."

It is the mission of RESCUE 55021 to provide lifelong care for Minnesota animals through rescue, rehabilitation, foster care ,placement in forever homes or end of life comfort care.

RESCUE 55021 is a small rescue with a big heart!!  We are a 100% volunteer based rescue. All donations received go directly to the care of our animals.  RESCUE 55021 was established on November 26 2016.  RESCUE 55021 is a 501(c)3 tax exempt nonprofit, registered and in good standing with the State of Minnesota.  RESCUE 55021 has rescued and found forever homes for over 650 cats, kittens, puppies and dogs.  RESCUE 55021 survives solely on donations and funds raised during our fundraising events.  Our adoption fees most often do not cover the vetting expenses of our animals, especially cats and kittens.  Our cats and kittens are housed in our rescue building while our dogs and puppies are placed in foster homes.  Whether at our rescue building or in our foster homes, these sweet fur babies are cared for and loved on until they find their forever homes.

RESCUE 55021 also supports our hospice/senior house, TJ'S Landing.  This home provides unending love to our terminally ill or unadoptable fur babies until they cross over the Rainbow Bridge to Animal Heaven.
