About us
Our vision is that PCLC empowers adult learners by helping them remove obstacles on their path to educational and financial independence. Through these efforts, we ensure our communities have access to the resources needed to achieve stability, creating lasting solutions to poverty and unemployment in Perry County.
Using a human-centered approach, PCLC provides adult basic literacy, GED preparation classes and testing, English as a Second Language Classes, social services such as restoration of identity documents, food and gas cards, assistance with housing and basic needs, childcare for students and clients, and an early childhood education center featuring training on The Basics Principles to help prepare children form birth to age five for Kindergarten. Perry County is about half the size of Rhode Island, made up of many small towns about five to ten miles apart, with no public transportation. We are a certified PA CareerLink, which offers opportunities for employment and training.We add Feature Views for every $ you pay.
