About us
Red Sneakers for Oakley (RSFO) is committed to educating and advocating for food allergy awareness to save lives! Inspired by the life of Oakley Debbs who unexpectedly passed away at age 11 from accidentally eating a food he was allergic to. Oakley loved is red sneakers, so his family created RSFO to use Oakley's red sneakers as a powerful symbol of food allergy awareness so that no other family has to go through the same tragedy. With 33 million Americans and 250 million people worldwide who suffer from life-threatening food allergies, and so many who do not understand the severity of food allergies, RSFO works to educate as many people worldwide as they can to fully understand food allergies, the signs of anaphylaxis, and how to keep those with food allergies safe.
