Red Earth Theatre (RET) provides a platform to inspire many voices through live performance, and encourage dialogue exploring the human experience in our diverse communities. A small primarily volunteer theatre company founded in 2013, RET offers opportunity to the Verde Valley community and beyond to participate in and attend live performance. Live performance is a vital aspect of fostering cultural health and opportunity for both performers and audiences alike. Red Earth has consistently provided live theatre for the semi-rural communities in the Verde Valley, working with actors of all ages and experience - from HS through semi-retired professionals their 80s - locally and as far afield as Prescott and Flagstaff. At the core of every thriving community is a widely diverse culture. Expanding our reach to include non-traditional theatre goers, honoring time and place to share different stories and diversity, Red Earth provides concerts, workshops, wellness education and gatherings coordinated by our DBA Synergy Communities. Based out of a coffeehouse and apothecary we aim to combat the loss of culture and community in the face of the housing crises, homelessness, and health issues. Red Earth Theatre meets our diverse population where they are - from the older, well established population to our younger, struggling individuals and families - with a variety of opportunities to give voice to their different experiences, as well as to bring them into each other's orbit.
