Rape Crisis Ireland (RCNI) is a specialist information and resource centre on rape and all forms of sexual violence with a proven capacity in strategic leadership. We are the representative, umbrella body for our member Rape Crisis Centres who provide free advice, counselling and support for survivors of sexual abuse.  Our objectives are to promote the rights of survivors of sexual violence’s, inform services, legislative and policy responses with expertise and evidence, and innovate and collaborate on prevention strategies.

We engage in public policy and legislative advocacy, provide legal advice and information to Rape Crisis Centres and

to victims of sexual violence, as well as legal training to Rape Crisis Centre staff and volunteers as legislation changes. RCNI deliver vital training and administrative support to a number of national programmes supporting survivors throughout the Republic of Ireland.
