About us

We work in partnership with New Routes Foundation (NRF) that is based in Kenya. It runs a holistic university sponsorship program for orphaned and vulnerable young adults that is strongly centred on discipleship, mentorship and local community.  We aim to end generational cycles of poverty among orphaned and vulnerable young adults in Elgeyo Marakwet, Kenya through; university education sponsorship, living costs sponsorship, internship opportunities, mentorship programmes, various skills courses and personal projects. Once the students have met the criteria and are chosen to be part of the program, they move into the NRF premises 3 months before joining their selected universities. During the 3 months, they undergo training in financial management, soft skills, computer skills and personal health; as well as benefitting from personal mentoring sessions. When the students join their universities, they continue to take part in weekly online mentoring sessions, provide NRF with monthly progress reports, receive personal visits twice a year from NRF staff, and stay on the NRF premises during their holiday periods. For us, it’s quality over quantity; being deeply rooted and strongly established. Help us educate orphans in Kenya.
