The PS5 PTA is a member of the National PTA and 501(c)3 charitable organization. Our purpose is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families, teachers, administrators and communities to advocate for all children. To do this we: *promote the welfare of children and youth in school and community; *host fundraisers, coordinate volunteers; *support and facilitate after school programs; *support and encourage our teachers and administration; *bring parents and teachers may closer together to cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth;
