Minnesota is home to one of the most robustly supported and supportive Fringe Festivals in the United States. Founded in 1993 to promote freedom and diversity of artistic expression in our community, Minnesota Fringe serves participants from the metro, statewide, nationally, and internationally with a mission to connect adventurous artists with adventurous audiences. Our programs engages racially, economically, and culturally diverse groups drawn by the multitude of themes, genres, and communities on our stages. Through the dynamic annual festival and additional year-round programming, Minnesota Fringe supports artistic growth and serves as a vibrant catalyst for audiences to experience new ideas, artists, venues, and neighborhoods.
