We provide direct mental health and social/emotional services in a unique mobile transit model of service to Vermont’s youth and families in locations that do not haveappropriate therapeutic spaces and accessible services. Green Mountain Mobile Therapyengages with schools and community organizations to provide direct mental health services and social/emotional resources. The principle goals of the organization are to:● Provide psychotherapy for youth who do not have access to therapeutic services;● Engage and collaborate with schools and community organizations focused on youthdevelopment to provide onsite mental health services within a trauma-informed practiceperspective;● Reduce the stigma of mental health services;● Provide a consistent space and structure for kids to feel safe and engage in therapeuticprocesses;● Develop social emotional structures and mindfulness practices to increase resilience in youth;● Build a platform for equitable access to mental health services for children and adolescents;● Collaborate with other service providers, including state agencies to support and protectyouth;● Support, guide, and advocate for mental health and wellbeing services for youth and families;● Engage in community events to promote accessible mental health services and social emotional resources for Vermont’s children and adolescents
