Prost8 UK assists men with a new prostate cancer diagnosis to be aware of and to access the most suitable treatment for their grade of cancer - all within the NHS.  There is a postcode lottery in accessing newer, minimally invasive treatments for prostate cancer and the charity is working to enable men to access the NHS facilities that currently exist (even if outside of their home area).  Additionally we also assist NHS hospitals to acquire and deploy the equipment.  A further aspect of the charity's work is to promote the advantages of awareness of the need for early screening and diagnosis, which allows men to find cancer early enough to access the best treatments, as well as saving lives potentially lost when men are diagnosed at late stage.
