Project Prickles Hedgehog Rescue has been running for 5 years now. I’m a one woman band and in that time have successfully rescued, repaired and released 739 hedgehogs back to the wild. My husband and I fund the rescue with kind donations from finders, plus myself and friends make Hedgehog themed crafts to sell at events. I do talks for schools, WI, cubs, scouts and forestry schools to help raise awareness of the plight of the seriously endangered hedgehog. I devote all my days - and at the moment nights too, rehabilitating and nurturing the sick and orphaned. I keep my finders updated once a week by text, microchip each hedgehog before they are released and provide a handover sheet, straw and food for the first six days so they are well supported on their second chance at life in the wild. I often provide a hog house too! A donation like this would help enormously with the continuous costs of medication,  vet bills, food, laundry and all the sundries needed to run a good rescue ‘Hogspital ‘!
