Project K-9 Hero is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting those who protected us. Project K-9 Hero supports retired Police K-9s and Military Working Dogs who have served our communities and country. After their years of courageous service, many of these heroes face challenges accessing critical medical care, rehabilitation, and a safe retirement. Project K-9 Hero steps in to ensure they receive the support they deserve, providing funding for veterinary care, prescription food, rehabilitation, rehoming, and end-of-duty services.

By covering these costs, Project K-9 Hero helps ease the financial burden on handlers and adoptive families, giving retired working dogs a chance to live out their lives with dignity and comfort. The organization also works to raise awareness about the sacrifices these K-9s have made, educating the public and advocating for policies that protect their well-being.
