At Piggies Paradise, our goal is to educate the community on guinea pig care, provide a temporary home until they find their forever homes, and rehabilitate sick or injured guinea pigs. We have taken in guinea pigs from hoarding situations, we have over 150 guinea pigs in our care at any given time. We also offer medical boarding for guinea pigs who are sick and need treatment so the owner doesn’t feel overwhelmed with the care or a sick guinea pig. Another service we offer is a mobile clinic and spa day. During the mobile clinic, we have many guinea pig owners bring their guinea pigs in for nail trims, ear cleaning, boar cleaning when applicable, administration of preventative medicine, and we check them over to see if we see anything concerning. Spa day includes bath, nail trims, hair trim if needed, boar cleaning when applicable, ear cleaning, administration of preventative medicine. It is our goal that we can educate the community on proper care for a guinea pig including food, hay, veggies, cage size and many other things that come with the care of a guinea pig.
