Our shelter has been open since 2001 - 20 years this year! We are unable to fundraise efficiently due to the Covid19 restrictions at the present time and we are completely self-funded. We provide a stable environment and attend to the health requirements of the cats and kittens that we admit to our shelter and also place in foster care. We are a non-euthanasia shelter and our animals receive wonderful care and attention from our wonderful volunteers. We need funding to keep the shelter viable. We provide all necessary and appropriate veterinary attention and medication to all Association animals that may present as sick or injured and to continue providing such veterinary care unless otherwise advised that the animal cannot be returned to complete health. We have all animals micro chipped, vaccinated and de-sexed on admission to the shelter or as close to time of admission where possible and to provide worm and flea treatments as required for the entire period they are housed at the shelter. We socialise animals to ensure where possible that adopted animals can assimilate into their new home without harm to the new owners.
