Parents Battle Of the Bands (PBOB) is a non-profit and registered Australian Charity (with DGR status) that uses the practice and performance of music to create community, weave social tissue, improve mental health/cognitive abilities and increase well-being for all generations. All proceeds go directly to the music programs of participating public schools! 

We achieve this mission through vibrant live music events (+18), in the form of parents’ band battles, which not only generate funds but also contribute to the revitalisation of local creative industries.

Originally founded in St Kilda, Port Phillip, Victoria, PBOB has expanded beyond its initial location, now exerting its influence across Melbourne and the rest of the state. To date, PBOB has 33 participating parents bands from 33 different public primary schools.
