Our Church Ministries — We Bring Church With Us

Our Church Ministries was founded on a simple belief: people should not have to walk through the doors of a church before they can experience the love of God and the love of a community. Sometimes, the church needs to go to them.

That is exactly how our ministry began.

We started by bringing church into local motels, reaching people who were often living through incredibly difficult seasons and who might have felt uncomfortable, discouraged, or simply unable to enter a traditional church building.

We decided we would bring church to them.

That heart continues to define Our Church Ministries today.

Our mission is to bring light into dark places, hope to the hopeless, and freedom to the captives through the power of the Gospel. But for us, those aren’t simply words. We believe love must become action.

Our volunteers meet people where they are, build relationships, listen to their stories, identify needs, and help create genuine connection and community. We gather for worship, teaching and fellowship, but our ministry doesn’t end when a church service ends. We want people to know that they are seen, valued, loved, and that they do not have to walk through life’s hardest seasons alone.

Our community includes people from many different walks of life and backgrounds, united by a desire to love God and love people well. We have watched relationships form, faith grow, people find hope again, and lives begin to change.

At the heart of Our Church Ministries is a vision for a different kind of church:

A church that goes.
A church that serves.
A church that builds community.
A church that sees the person others may overlook.
A church willing to meet people exactly where they are.

We are not trying to build an impressive institution.

We are trying to build people.

We believe some of the greatest transformations begin when one person realizes, Someone sees me. Someone cares. I haven’t been forgotten.

That is the kind of ministry we want to continue building.

Our Church Ministries began by taking church to people who weren’t coming to church—and we intend to keep going wherever people need hope.
