OCT holds three large Care Package Events throughout the year. Along with the product, OCT ships letters, cards, comics and puzzles with each care package.   

In the spring, “Spring into Summer” care packages focus on providing deployed troops with drink mixes, canned fruit, beef jerky, trail mix, protein bars and other food items.  OCT has a partnership with a local Tranont distributor for their high-end hydration drink mix which is a top requested item from the troops

In August, OCT ships “Bag of Bare Necessities” care packages with a focus on sun protection, personal care items, SPF lip balms, lotions and several types of protein snack foods.  

In November, OCT has the “Holiday Stocking Packing” which builds hundreds of holiday stockings for deployed troops.  These care packages contain holiday stockings filled with product, hand made scarves by NH residents and bags of candy collected by school children, organizations and individuals for OCT's "Treats for Troops" program.  

Also built at the November Packing Event are holiday stockings for homeless/at-risk veterans.  The stockings contain products geared to the homeless veterans.  OCT coordinates distribution with Liberty House in Manchester and Harbor Care which operates veterans' housing at BAE Systems Independence Hall, Buckingham Place, Delanis and Boulder Point.

In Dec, OCT supplied the Holiday stockings for the children of the veteran families in the VASH program and started 2023 veteran families at Buckingham Place.  In 2024, OCT made 120 Holiday stockings for the children designed by age and gender.  These stockings are designed to aid the family with items such as toys and treats as well as packages of socks, sleepers and outfits for babies, etc.  The younger children included Play Doh, coloring books, crayons, Kinetic Sand Sets, snacks, candy, hats and mittens - for the boys Lego Sets, matchbox cars and for the girls LCD writing tablet, craft kits, stuffies.  Stockings for everyone 12 and older include a Gift Certificate. 

OCT supplies products for “Stand Down” which is held in September organized by Harbor Care. Products supplied include food items, backpacks, winter socks, personal hygiene items, batteries, flashlights, hand & foot warmers and other products designed for the needs of the homeless or at-risk veteran. 

OCT supports the annual VA Baby Shower for veterans.  OCT works with the VFW Auxiliary Hospital Chair to the VA.  This enables us to supply requested items for the event.
