The Ocean Media Institute (OMI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves to enrich the public's understanding of science and conservation through the collaborative creation, exhibition and open-distribution of innovative and inclusive digital media. As a global creative hub, we train and work with scientists and filmmakers, communities and organizations in the craft of impactful stories and artful approaches to ocean and science literacy that transcend the traditional boundaries of science communication and engage audiences in personal and meaningful ways.
