One of A Kind Pet Rescue has been saving cats and dogs in imminent danger for twenty years, which is almost 50,000 to date. Our compassionate staff and medical team treat the medically fragile and homeless animals most in need of care. We are a no-time-limit shelter, and no adoptable animal is euthanized. Many of our animals come from Animal Control Facilities (the pound) just prior to their scheduled euthanasia, and sick or injured animals brought to us by Good Samaritans are given priority. At any given time, we are caring for an average of 500 animals throughout two facilities and a robust foster program. All pets are fully vetted prior to adoption, and it is not uncommon for the animals to receive dentals, eye enucleations, mass removals, amputations, orthopedic surgeries, and several other extraordinary medical treatments that others would euthanize rather than treat. We are a private, non-profit not affiliated with any larger organization or government entity.  We are solely supported by donations and the kindness of others.
