Notpfote Animal Rescue e.V. is a Germany-based, non-profit animal welfare association operating as a mobile intervention force for clean, borderless animal rescue. Guided by our motto "TIEREN HELFEN, ÜBERALL!" (Helping Animals, Everywhere!), our team responds wherever animals are in urgent need.

• Frontline Emergency & Disaster Relief: Responding to war and disaster zones in Ukraine, Turkey, Morocco, and Syria. We conduct rapid extractions, deliver emergency food, build shelters, and run spay, neuter, and rabies prevention programs.

• Specialized Domestic Sanctuaries in Germany: Operating #Federheim in Neuss (Germany's first specialized poultry shelter providing a peaceful sanctuary for rescued hens and waterfowl) and #Wildpfote (rescuing and rehabilitating native wildlife like squirrels and hedgehogs).

• Sanctuary Projects (Gnadenplätze): Providing lifelong medical care, food, and living expenses for elderly, ill, or unadoptable animals, including rescued horses and livestock.

• Seniors for Seniors (Senioren für Senioren): Pairing lonely senior citizens with elderly shelter pets, with Notpfote covering 100% of all veterinary and food costs so finances never stand in the way of companionship.

• Education & Social Inclusivity: Offering integrative workplaces for people with disabilities and teaching children about animal ethics and nature conservation.

We operate with an honorary board and a nationwide network of over 1,200 registered foster homes. Our work has been recognized with the State Animal Welfare Prize of North Rhine-Westphalia (2021) and the Special Award for Animal Welfare in Crisis Zones (2024).

Because we receive no government funding, our emergency rescues and lifetime animal sanctuaries rely entirely on public support. Every free weekly vote on MyGivingCircle helps us secure vital grant funding for food, veterinary care, and emergency rescues.

Thank you for standing with us and giving a voice to animals in need!
