Northwest Zen Community is a nonprofit Soto Zen Buddhist community based in Seattle, Washington. Through Eishoji, our small community provides a place for traditional Zen practice, including zazen, chanting, Dharma teachings, services, and community gatherings.

We welcome people of all backgrounds and levels of experience. Our purpose is not simply to offer meditation, but to preserve and share traditional Soto Zen practice while creating a small, accessible community where people can practice together in the midst of ordinary daily life.

As a small nonprofit community, we depend on donations and volunteer support to maintain our practice space and keep our activities accessible to everyone.
