Northern Lakes Rescue is a 100% volunteer and foster based dog rescue 501(c)3 organization based out of Brainerd, MN. NLR and its dedicated volunteers save dogs here in Minnesota by working with various American Indian reservations, taking in owner surrenders and unclaimed stray dogs, and pulling dogs that are scheduled for euthanization out of Minnesota shelters. NLR’s life saving efforts do not stop there. NLR works with overcrowded high-kill shelters and various other rescues that also take in stray and injured dogs. Since its inception in 2017, NLR has helped more than 2,000 dogs live the happily-ever-after lives that they all deserve. Without donations, without your support, NLR cannot continue its mission.
