The mission of Mother's Refuge is to shelter and educate homeless, pregnant and parenting young women by providing comprehensive services that empower them to make successful life decisions for themselves and their babies. We have three programs: our (1) Maternity Home for young pregnant and parenting moms (ages 12-21) and their babies, a (2) Transitional Living Program for moms 18+ with their young children, and our (3) Aftercare Program for all prior residents. The three main pillars of our programming revolve around shelter, healthcare, and education. 

Not only do we provide for their immediate needs of a safe place to live and to sleep, but we offer holistic two-generational care including individualized case management, access to healthcare including prenatal, general, and pediatric care, academic education support, mental health services, life-skills training, and other resources for both the mother and their children. Moms can stay in our Maternity Home up to their child's third birthday, and in our Transitional Living for up to three additional years, providing a safe place and supportive environment as they learn the skills needed for independence and self-sufficiency.
